Many of you have heard the testimony of how the Lord called me to ministry as a young child. As a new, born again, believer, I didn’t fully understand all that He was calling me to, yet the call was so strong, and I said YES!

I fully believe that when we’re born God places dreams, desires, and talents inside our sous to help prepare us for the call He has placed on each of our lives in order to bring Him glory! Even as a youngster, I would see myself standing in front of large crowds singing and sharing my testimony! Little did I know then what He would have me do now!

However, like a lot of folks, throughout the years I became lazy and allowed life and its struggles to sometimes get in the way of that call. Then this year, a birthday and James 4:14 hit me square in the heart! “How did I get this old, this quick?!” And, as the Word says, our life is “but a vapor!” Ouch!!! So much time wasted for the Kingdom!!

With that confession, comes a commitment: No more wasting time daydreaming, giving excuses and simply putting off until tomorrow what should be done today. For me, that commitment is this; Psalm 104: 33-34 33 “I will sing to the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. 34 May my meditation be sweet to Him; I will be glad in the Lord!”
